Apparently J.J. Abrams didn't take what Universal chief Ron Meyer said about Benicio Del Toro's 'Wolfman' performance to heart. ("Benicio stunk," said Meyer.) Variety reports that Abrams wants Del Toro to play the villain in the sequel to 'Star Trek,' and that an offer could go out sometime over the next few days. What villain Del Toro would play remains a mystery, but -- as Kyle Buchanan posits at Vulture -- perhaps he could be Khan? After all, the sequel to 'Star Trek: The Motion Picture,' was 'Wrath of Khan,' so that's something! Or maybe not. Speculate as wildly as you'd like in the comments below.[via Variety]
