Joran Van Der Sloot Sentenced To 28 Years In Prison For The Murder Of Stephany Flores!

Finally. Some justice being served.

Just two days after finally admitting�to one of�his crime,�Joran van der Sloot�was sentenced today in Peru to 28 years in prison for the murder of�Stephany Flores.

Prosecutors had�originally asked for a 30-year sentence for first-degree murder and theft in the killing of Flores, but the judge decreased the sentence by two years in accordance with the defenses stance that Joran was suffering from post-traumatic stress relating to the anniversary of�Natalee Holloway?s�disappearance at the time of Flores? murder.

In addition to prison time, Joran is also�sentenced�to pay the Flores family $75,000 in reparations and under Peru?s penal system, Joran could become eligible for parole after serving half of the sentence with good behavior.

Still, that?s plenty of time to think about how he destroyed so many lives with his actions.
