Russell Simmons And Mia Farrow Want U To Boycott Lowes

Are U as pissed off at Lowes for their bigoted decision to�pulladvertising from TLC?s�All-American Muslim�as we are?

Good! You?re not alone! Actress�Mia Farrow�and hip-hop icon�Russell Simmons�are too!

After hearing the distressing news, Mia asked her followers to join her in a boycott of the home improvement chain, tweeting:

?Big effort on Twitter to hit Lowes where it hurts,Let?s all #boycottLowes retweet.?v@OnceaSloan #shame?

The co-founder of Def Jam Recordings isn?t short on any outrage either and appreciated Mia?s�concerns, as he�tweeted�a response reading:

?@MiaFarrow Thank U 4 your concern re #allamericanmuslim -I will sic every civil rights agency on @lowes until they straighten this out?

Following the outrage, Lowes kind of, sort of apologized for their decision (although, they don?t sound like they feel too bad about it) in a statement, reading:

?As you know, the TLC program�All-American Muslim�has become a lightning rod for people to voice complaints from a variety of perspectives ? political, social and otherwise. Following this development, dozens of companies removed their advertising from the program beginning in late November. Lowe?s made the decision to discontinue our advertising on Dec. 5. As we shared yesterday, we have a strong commitment to diversity and inclusion, and we?re proud of that longstanding commitment. If we have made anyone question that commitment, we apologize.?

Umm?clearly Lowes has absolutely NO ?commitment to diversity? if they feel advertising on a reality show about Muslim?s in America is a threat to their business. What a bunch of dumb dumbs.

We?d like to know who the other 12 comnies are so we can boycott them too! For now, we?ll just have to take comfort in knowing that #LowesBlows and Home Depot is the home improvement place to go!
