Haunted Farmhouse Tale 'The Warren Files' Rounds Out Cast
We recently told you about the haunted farmhouse flick starring Lili Taylor and Ron Livingston who play the Perrons ? based on a real-life family that were haunted by evil spirits in Rhode Island. Now director James Wan ("Insidious," "Saw") has cast the rest of the film ? formerly called "The Conjuring," now known as "The Warren Files" ? according to Variety. Hayley McFarland ("Lie to Me") and Shanley Caswell ("Detention") will play the older siblings in the family, while Mackenzie Foy and Joey King have already been cast as the youngest. Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson are playing paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren ? the real-life ghost hunting team who helped the Perrons. Shooting begins in about two weeks in North Carolina. Are you liking the way this haunted family feature is shaping up?

Megan Fox May Play a Sexy, Unhinged Actress in Japanese Horror Remake
Megan Fox may be appearing in a remake of Japanese horror "2LDK," which is being retitled as "The Wright Girls." "Easy A" writer Bert Royal wrote the remake, about two actresses who live together and are vying for the same part in a film. While waiting to find out who gets the role, they unleash their rage on each other in a "flurry of violent-erotic behavior." Relativity wants "Jennifer's Body" star Fox for one of the leads. Are you already in line to watch this one, or did her part as an oversexed and bloodthirsty high school student leave you blah about seeing her in more horror roles?

Jack the Ripper, 'From Hell,' and 'Silence of the Lambs Inspire New Movie for Hammer Films
After Hammer Films' "The Woman in Black" performed well at the box office, the studio is already looking to start their next big project. They've been eyeing up Ian Fried's screenplay for "Gaslight," which is on Hollywood's Black List of the best unproduced scripts of 2011. The atmospheric thriller is being described as a cross between "From Hell" and "Silence of the Lambs." If you've been wondering what the hell happened to Jack the Ripper, "Gaslight" has the answer. He's been secretly locked up in a London insane asylum all these years helping Scotland Yard investigators solve a series of grisly murders that bear a peculiar mark. Stay tuned for more!

'Scott Pilgrim' Actress Starring in English Paranormal Tale
"The Last Exorcism" director Daniel Stamm is tackling a dark psychological thriller, appropriately being called "The Darkness." "Scott Pilgrim vs. the World" actress Mary Elizabeth Winstead will be toplining the project. She'll play an American student in a remote English manor, who is charged with the care of her tutor's two children. She eventually comes to the conclusion that the house is haunted and their lives are in danger. Winstead will be appearing in "Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter" and recently starred in "The Thing." Is she set to be one or horror's new leading ladies?

Dig into the New 'Devil's Carnival' Artwork
Dread Central shared some badass artwork for the upcoming Devil's Carnival ? brought to you by the same fine folks who worked on "Repo! The Genetic Opera" ? starring genre icon Bill Moseley. He's featured as The Magician in this poster series, with his sidekick Harry the Hare. Harry looks like he's seen better days, but we won't judge. The film also stars Slipknot's The Clown, Ivan Moody, Briana Evigan, Alexa Vega, Ogre, Paul Sorvino, Marc Senter, Emilie Autumn, Sean Patrick Flanery, and J. Larose. Dig into the project's website to sufficiently creep yourself out.

Shock Till You Drop was kind enough to share a teaser image and trailer for the film, which is being dubbed an '80s-inspired teen thriller. Genre talent Derek Mears ("Friday the 13th") and Fabianne Therese ("John Dies at the End") star, alongside others for what promises to be a violent, hitman story.
