'Drive' Inspires Man To Courageously Throw Hot Dog Near Tiger Woods

Having already motivated one woman to file a lawsuit for the film not being fast/furious enough, Drive continues to inspire nutcases, on Sunday reportedly encouraging a mental case to throw a hot dog near Tiger Woods. Though Drive's many acts of graphic violence do not include attacks on golfers nor cheap meat products, a 31-year-old Petaluma, California native interpreted the Ryan Gosling film as a call to action, and that action was to euphemistically heave a Ball Park in the direction of Tiger Woods, which culprit Brian Kelly did at the Frys.com Open. Explaining his obviously Drive-derivative attack, Kelly said:

"I threw the hot dog toward Tiger Woods because I was inspired by the movie 'Drive.' As soon as the movie ended, I thought to myself, 'I have to do something courageous and epic. I have to throw a hot dog on the green in front of Tiger.'"

Security quickly escorted him away, disposing of the hot dog and bun as well, and sheriff's deputies arrested the noble hero on suspicion of disturbing the peace, yet still evidence of his not-so-copycat crime remains: on his Facebook, Kelly had already posted a photo of the meat tube weapon carefully posed in front of his steering wheel and speedometer, a valiant, wiener-themed tribute to Ryan Gosling's Drive character's habit of strapping his watch to the wheel. Now it all makes sense.
