Will The Remake of 'The Crow' Ever Happen?

Remember 'The Crow'? That movie from 1994 starring Bruce Lee's son as some sort of weird superhero-ghost hybrid who exacts revenge on those who have wronged him? Well, a reboot of that movie has been in the works for quite some time, but it's no closer to being made then when it was first announced. According to Twitch, Juan Carlos Fresnadillo, who was attached to direct, has just dropped out. For the record, that makes him the second director to leave the project, the first being Stephen Norrington.

The producers have had trouble on the writer and actor front, too. Nick Cave wrote the initial script, only to have it rejected, and Bradley Cooper was attached to star as the Crow, but ended up leaving due to scheduling conflicts. With the news of Fresnadillo no longer directing, who knows if this thing will ever get made.
